Thomas Mathew (Sunny)

The eldest of 5 boys born to Kunjoonju and Kunjamma on 10th January 1951.  He studied in Tiruvalla and completed his B.A. in Economics from Mar Thoma College.  After graduation he proceed to Kuwait.  Where his parents were.  There he worked in several private firms.  At present he is employed as Snr. Technical Assistant with Kuwait Oil Co., Production Dept. at Burgan, Kuwait.

He married Rajamma (Maryamma George), daughter of Dr. George Mathew and Annamma Mathew of Bethesda House, Chemanthoor, Punalur.  Rajamma was working as a Staff Nurse with Ministry of Social Affairs in Kuwait.  They got married in Kuwait on 6th October 1977. Their eldest daughter, Nisha was born on 5th Decemeber 1979.  A son, Nevin was born to them on 20th April 1982.

During the Iraqi occupation of Kuwait, they returned to India.  Sunny later returned to Kuwait and resumed his employment with Kuwait Oil Co. Rajamma also went for a short while and then returned to be with children.  She is now staying with children in Bangalore.  Nisha is doing her B.A in literature at Christian college Bangalore  and Nevin is doing his PUC  at Bolvins Boys college, Bangalore.
